Hi! I’m Richelle. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and the owner of Light Within Counseling, LLC. I graduated from Monmouth University with a Master’s of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2013. I have experience working with both children and adults. I have worked with diverse populations in the mental health setting ranging from anxiety disorders, depression, developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum, and ADHD to Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia.

I am passionate about supporting clients in the process of healing, growing, and becoming the best version of themselves. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. 

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe in the power of healing and transformation. Along with providing an open-minded environment, I am able to integrate spiritual and clinical orientations that open the door for self-expression. I find that it is most beneficial to use a combination of different therapeutic approaches to fit the individualistic needs that are presented throughout the time spent working together in therapy.
