While obtaining my Master’s degree in Counseling I also specialized in Spirituality in Counseling. I believe in a holistic approach within the therapeutic process. Spiritual wellness, and looking at ourselves as a “whole,” or mind, body, and soul, is important for our overall emotional health.

You do not have to be religious to be spiritual. The way I define spirituality is, “connecting to something greater than oneself." During a spiritual based counseling session we may practice techniques such as meditation, journaling, and existential questioning.

After receiving my Master’s degree I took a postgraduate course called Transformational Travel where we went to volunteer at an orphanage in India called One Life to Love. To put it simply – it was life-changing! I want to help others seek their life-changing moment or moments that help foster growth and facilitate greater transformation within.
